CALL ME OUT.

Welcome to Whose Turn Is It Anyway, where the rules are made up and the timestamps don't matter. If you want to start a private PSL, do some voice testing, or whatever the hell you want-- you're in the right place.

Here's my muselist. Pretty much everyone on there is fair game. Ask for a character, or maybe take yourself over to the megameme if you don't have any ideas. There are no expiration dates. If you drop something and pick it up eight months later, I will tag you back.

Go forth. Have fun.

[In the time that Thrall has been gone, Waver has focused all of his energy into understanding precisely what's happening to his body. Whatever this stuff is, it isn't in his bloodstream. If it was, he'd feel it - after all, magi must be aware of all fluctuations in their body at all times. Which means it's likely small spores or something of the sort on his skin, causing the inability to move. Walking around would spread the spores on the fabric of his trousers and make everything worse.

It's a working theory, at least.

When Thrall walks in, Waver's managed to stretch his leg out and rest it a top a small stool, so that it's easier to work with.]

About the same. I think that whatever it is, it's on my skin rather than inside, so we might get very lucky. Is your issue improved?
shamanism: (★ left me wounded and alone)

[personal profile] shamanism 2015-06-22 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
Then this should be easier than I expected. [He has a towel just in case.]

I feel better for having some air. What do you need me to do?
gordianknots: Fate/strange fake manga (The name I came with the name I made)

[personal profile] gordianknots 2015-06-22 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Get the towel wet, then pass it to me? I don't want you touching the leg anymore in case it's topical--
shamanism: (★ on destiny's uncertain sands)

[personal profile] shamanism 2015-06-24 01:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course.

[He dunks the towel in the water and passes it to Waver. His fingers linger just a little too long on Waver's hand, though.]
gordianknots: Please don't waste your pity votes on me (Default)

[personal profile] gordianknots 2015-06-24 02:36 pm (UTC)(link)
[Waver takes the towel eagerly, but that hand gets a very confused glance. That's odd, given that not even the first healing attempt seemed to be so much about touch.

With the damp fabric in hand, Waver starts scrubbing at his leg as hard as he can. He flinches every so often, meaning that oh thank God he can feel it.]

Okay I think this is working--
shamanism: (★ these harsh responsibilities)

[personal profile] shamanism 2015-06-26 10:17 am (UTC)(link)
[Thrall doesn't seem to notice the look. He's busy watching Waver.]

And then you'll... cast a spell to be sure?
gordianknots: Please don't waste your pity votes on me (Default)

[personal profile] gordianknots 2015-06-26 05:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Unless you'd like to try?

[Waver tilts his head slightly at Thrall. It's hard not to notice being watched.]
shamanism: (★ the root of all this suffering)

[personal profile] shamanism 2015-06-28 12:05 pm (UTC)(link)
By all means, go ahead. I cannot use the element of water anymore, but I am curious to see how yours works...

[Don't mind him, he's just inquisitive.]
gordianknots: Please don't waste your pity votes on me (Default)

[personal profile] gordianknots 2015-06-28 03:21 pm (UTC)(link)
All right.

[Waver's magic is a precise thing, based on knowing the make up material and breaking it down, understanding the finest parts, and then forcing his will upon those parts. Placing his hand down onto the skin, he murmurs something under his breath, and then--

--well, nothing. There's no glow, no indication that anything out of the ordinary is going on. But after a few moments, Waver does lift his hand, and flexes his foot.]

There. The last of it's gone.
shamanism: (★ these harsh responsibilities)

[personal profile] shamanism 2015-07-01 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
[It's not fancy or showy, which only makes it more interesting. Thrall's ears perk up. He can barely detect any change, though as a healer, he has some sensitivity to a body's state.]

Fascinating.

[He holds his hands out just to be sure. After a moment, he lowers them again.]

Is all magic from your world that way?
gordianknots: Fate/strange fake manga (We all wanna hear that fight song)

[personal profile] gordianknots 2015-07-01 04:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Not at all. More skilled magi than I do have more flare. I'm...technically not considered very powerful, all things considered.
shamanism: (★ a perfect little world)

[personal profile] shamanism 2015-07-01 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Zuggossh. [The inflection translates that for Waver. Probably 'bullshit'.] You have silence spells and wards and enchantments I could not dream of.
gordianknots: Please don't waste your pity votes on me (Default)

[personal profile] gordianknots 2015-07-01 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
True enough, but magic's about inheritance. Longer lines have more powerful magi. I'm only the third in my family--
shamanism: (★ nothing makes a sound)

[personal profile] shamanism 2015-07-01 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Perhaps on your world, it is.

[He leans in a little, smiling.]

But you could solidly beat me in a battle of magic or wits any day. You are more than your bloodline, my friend.
gordianknots: The company you keep (You'll never miss)

[personal profile] gordianknots 2015-07-01 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Wits, yes, magic, I think we'd be fairly matched. But you'd win if it was just physical!

[Waver smiles, and starts to stand up. He definitely hasn't accounted for how close Thrall is, and he brushes against him--]

Ah, shit, sorry--
shamanism: (★ here comes that old familiar pain)

[personal profile] shamanism 2015-07-04 06:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Hahah, well--

[His laughter cuts off as Waver brushes against him. Instinctively, Thrall reaches out to steady Waver. He feels... strangely dizzy as he does so. Not so much that he'll lose balance, but it's strange to feel his pulse in his forehead, his heartbeat in his ears. His hands, gentle and large as they are, rest on the smaller man's sides.]

... Are you all right?

[Cheeks flushed, heart racing-- just what is wrong with him? He tries to focus on Waver, which makes his gaze perhaps a little more intense than it ought to be.]
gordianknots: I'm not one to rage against the scene (We excel at drama)

[personal profile] gordianknots 2015-07-04 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, yeah.

[Really, the last time that hands that big were anywhere near Waver, it was Rider picking up Waver like a scruffed kitten. Thrall's hands are definitely the right size, although far more green. Gingerly, Waver moves his hands atop Thrall's, and pats them both gently.]

Are you sure you are though? You're not exactly behaving erratically, but something seems a bit off. None of those weird plants got you?
shamanism: (★ into the soil before i see)

[personal profile] shamanism 2015-07-04 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[The patting draws him out of his daze, but only slightly.]

Something is off, but I do not know what. I already told you the symptoms. Perhaps something about the stormy sea is disagreeing with me.

[He feels very warm, all things considered. Not hot, but warm. The corner of his mouth slants upward. It isn't much of a stretch to tug Waver into a hug.

What Thrall isn't expecting from himself, though, is the soft brushing of lips that follows.]
gordianknots: But my inner Cinderella calls (Your hypothesis have been confirmed)

[personal profile] gordianknots 2015-07-05 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
[Well that was unexpected.

Waver doesn't move, not really. He's far more adept at being a deer in the headlights when a touch is this seemingly out of no where.

Except, now that he thinks about it, it isn't out of no where. Thrall's been blushing and warm for the duration of well, for about the same amount of time that Waver's leg has been bothering him.

After a little surprised squeak escapes, Waver pulls away. Not fast and panicked, admittedly, but to make sure he can talk.]

Is that how you express the sea disagreeing with you?
shamanism: (★ for the sinking rock to which i cling)

[personal profile] shamanism 2015-07-21 09:41 pm (UTC)(link)
[Thrall realizes what he did maybe a second too late. He lets go of Waver, perhaps a bit rudely, but more like he's afraid he'll hurt the poor man.]

Blessed ancestors! I-- I do not know what came over me--

[He covers his mouth for a moment.]

Forgive me. That was exceedingly rude. Not that you are unattractive, but I think you are, ah, preoccupied and perhaps claimed and-- I should be quiet.
gordianknots: The company you keep (You'll never miss)

[personal profile] gordianknots 2015-07-21 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)
[Perhaps not to either's surprise, Waver's face is bright red, red as his coat, and his first instinct is to hide that blush. Not exactly a mature response, he should have stopped doing that ages ago, but Waver's gut instinct in the romantic gesture department has never really gotten past the teenage boy designation]

S'fine, s'fine. More unexpected than rude just--

[Oh God, how does he even respond to this, aside from going even redder in the face.]

Let's both be quiet and maybe the awkward'll pass.
shamanism: (★ i'm at the end of my rope)

[personal profile] shamanism 2015-08-16 08:09 pm (UTC)(link)
[Thrall is quiet, then, and a good thirty seconds pass as he continues to grow darker and darker in the face.]

... This is still awkward.
gordianknots: Please don't waste your pity votes on me (Default)

[personal profile] gordianknots 2015-08-16 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
--More or less awkward if I note I wouldn't be opposed if it happened again?
shamanism: (★ if you turned your back on me)

[personal profile] shamanism 2015-08-17 09:39 pm (UTC)(link)
[He blinks once, twice, and almost asks Waver to say that again because it is definitely not what he's expecting to hear.]

But-- but I am an orc, [he says slowly.] You possess gentle features, and I... decidedly do not.
gordianknots: Sing your society song - it never changes (We all love the Smiths and dig the Clash)
